Here are the rules of the pride.
High Ranks:
Dominate male - Abbas {Dm}
Dominate males are the kings of the pride. They have authority over mating rights, who joins, choosing high ranks, and they also will choose a dominate female {his favorite lioness} Dominate males can be challenged but it is greatly frowned upon and will lead to exile if lost.
Dominate female - Abba {Df}
Dominate females are the queens of the pride. They are the lead lioness, basically. They are always the chief of the hunt and are the over all mother of cubs. They are seen as stronger than other lionesses and are admired by them, and Abba's favorite lioness.In this case I have Abbas sister on a different character. If Abbas gets a active sister then this role could be open to them.
Sub-dominates - n/a (Csdf) (Csdm) 0/2
Sub-dominates are second-in-command from the dominates and are in charge when the dominates are not present. They are greatly trusted and usually trusted, related to the Dominate Male or even extremely close friends.
Medium Ranks:
Lead Hunters - n/a {0/2} {Clh}
Lead hunters are basically the best hunters and in charge of hunts when the Dominate female isn't present. She can order the other hunters around and always take the responsibility of organizing hunting patrols and take the pleasure of the first bites after the Dominates have had their share.
Lead Protectors - n/a {0/2} {Clp}
Lead Protectors are the best protectors in the pride stronger than other males and more skilled/wise. They are in charge of marking the territory and chasing off rogues when the Dominate isn't doing so. They also stick up for the Dominate Male in fights. They have some mating rights.
Starter Ranks:
Hunters - {Ch}
Hunters are the bulk of the pride.They hunt in groups and will hunt frequently, about every 3 days. They follow the Lead Hunter and Dominate in hunts. Although they are less skilled then the Lead Hunters they can take down large prey such as buffalo,ibex when they are in groups. Alone, they could probably catch a antelope or steal prey from a cheetah/leopard.
Protectors - {Cp}
Protectors are all the males without mating rights. They scent mark the territory and chase away rogues with help from the Lead Protector. Although they are less wise then the Lead Protector they can chase away lionesses and adolescents alone. Protectors also follow the Lead Protector's rules in battle.
Hunters and Protectors can get closer to get the lead ranks, and also to show their skill in the pride.
Hunters,Protectors - Ch, Cp {Normal hunters,protectors, beginner ranks}
Noted Hunters,Protectors - Cnh, Cnp, {Hunters,Protectors that have proven they have skill and know more than normal hunters and protectors}
Experienced Hunters,Protectors - Ceh , Cep {Hunters,Protectors which are very skilled and can advise the lead ranks. They know a LOT in their rank.}
Low Ranks:
Adolescent - {Ca}
Adolescents are just lions 1-3 years old. Lionesses have the choice to stay and won't be chased off but lions will be chased off around 2 years old or so. This is just the natural way and if you are a lion adolescent do not beg to stay.
Cubs - {Cc}
Cubs are lions who are 0-1 years old. They are helpless and can not defend themselves without their mothers or fathers. Cubs will stay with their parents and males will not do a lot in the raising of the cub. All lionesses will treat young cubs as their own.
Rogues - {Cr}
Rogues are not apart of the pride. Males will be chased off or killed if they refuse to leave the territory because they are seen as danger and lionesses will probably be attacked by the pride lionesses. But in some circumstances the dominate invites the lioness to join.
Other animals - {COa}
Other animals will never be in any relation to the pride and are free to wander the map freely. You can not kill of another animal without their permission. {The only animals accepted in this category are African Savannah and coastal animals.}
